The clue set is smaller

In GTA map guessing, you are usually not identifying a country. You are identifying a known area inside a fixed world. That makes repeated practice extremely powerful.

  • Road shape and intersections.
  • Distinct buildings and storefronts.
  • Terrain height and coastline.
  • Bridges, tunnels, highways, and neighborhood edges.

Train by zones

Divide the map into zones and learn transitions between them. You will improve faster by mastering edges and routes than by trying to memorize every building at once.

How it relates to GeoGuessr

Both games reward structured observation. The habit is the same: scan, remove impossible areas, choose a likely zone, then place with the confidence the clues deserve.
