Terms of Service

GeoGuessr Boost is a Chrome extension for supported GeoGuessr, OpenGuessr, WorldGuessr, FreeGuessr, and Geotastic rounds. It includes a small free allowance and paid Pro access.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for how and where you use the extension. Follow the rules of any game, website, competition, workplace, school, or platform where you use it.

Free usage

The extension includes 5 starter guesses. After those are used, the free plan includes 1 guess per calendar day. Free usage is recorded by the service and linked to a first-party browser identifier so reinstalling the extension does not reset the allowance. Smart Zoom, Range, and continued unlimited use require Pro.

Paid access

Pro pricing is $4.99 for a 7-day pass, $9.99 per month, or $59.99 per year unless Stripe shows a different amount at payment. Pro includes unlimited/fair-use access, Auto Place without the free limit, Smart Zoom, Range, map preview, and local clues while access is active.

The 7-day pass is a one-time purchase. It starts when payment is confirmed, expires after 7 consecutive days, and does not renew automatically.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are responsible for cancelling before the next billing period if you do not want the subscription to renew.

Manual cryptocurrency payments

Stripe remains the standard payment method. Where available, you may request manual cryptocurrency payment for 7, 30, or 365 prepaid days of Pro. Manual crypto access does not renew automatically. Sending a request does not activate Pro or reserve a price; access starts only after we confirm receipt of the agreed payment. Payment instructions are sent by support and no wallet address is displayed inside the extension.

Affiliate program

After verifying an email address, you may receive one permanent invite code. A new user can enter one invite code during onboarding before using their first guess. Affiliate attribution is direct and one level only; there is no automatic link attribution or multi-level commission.

The standard commission is 25% of successful Stripe subscription payments and renewals made by directly referred users. The commissionable amount is the amount paid after tax and before Stripe processing fees. Each commission is calculated in cents and rounded down to the nearest cent. The rate shown in your affiliate account at attribution time controls the calculation.

Commissions remain pending for at least 14 days. Refunds, chargebacks, disputes, payment reversals, fraud, self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or other abuse can reduce, reverse, withhold, or cancel commissions. If a commission has already been paid, the reversal becomes a negative balance applied against future earnings.

Available balances of at least $25 may be requested as a cryptocurrency payout using the assets and networks shown in the extension. Payouts are reviewed and processed manually, so processing time can vary. You are responsible for providing a compatible wallet address and network and for any taxes, reporting, fees, or legal obligations that apply to your earnings. A transfer sent to an incorrect or incompatible address or network may be permanently lost. We may suspend an affiliate account or reject a payout where fraud, abuse, sanctions, legal risk, or inaccurate information is suspected. Participation does not guarantee referrals, commissions, payouts, or income.

Invite codes do not grant free Pro access, free months, or extra guesses. Historical access already issued under an earlier referral promotion remains governed by the terms in effect when it was granted.

Refunds

Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy. Duplicate charges and clear billing mistakes are refunded. Other requests are reviewed case by case.

No guarantee

Round detection, readable place names, map previews, Auto Place, Smart Zoom, and Range are provided “as is” and may be unavailable or incorrect.

Prohibited activity

Do not automate excessive usage, bypass limits, reverse engineer protected service components, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service.

Intellectual property

GeoGuessr Boost is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GeoGuessr.

Changes

These terms may be updated when the product, billing, or support flow changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
